An update on BB…

So we are now half way through the year of 2022. It has been a crazy first half with lots of new cars, new projects and all sorts of things coming in, and going out of BB. We gained a new staff member back in January who has settled in brilliantly and is giving as much banta as he gets, expanding the team and the workload that we have.
Our Autograss cars are ever popular with upwards of 10 new cars coming out this year with more in the pipeline, going all around the country and into Ireland. The last going to Harry Daly from the West Waterford club collecting his car at the men’s nationals just a few weeks ago. The family were very happy with the car and Harry not really knowing what to say! We have had some great results so far with some drivers currently in the top 4 of overall standings in the UKAC and BAS.
We are looking forward to the vast amount of Ladies and Juniors taking part in their National Championships in just 3 weeks representing women in motorsport and of course team BB! Graham made his return back to racing in his all new BB class 8 that is currently undergoing surgery in the workshop after an extended test at the weekend, and of course the new blood that is coming into the team with various excited juniors making there way through their junior career or anxious for it to start.
The GSXR 1000 Powered Reliant Kitten that was ever popular on our page and had a very happy customer when it was delivered. We also have the “Postman Pat” van in the Bodyshop waiting to be returned to us for the build up. We cant wait to show you how that has turned out and post plenty of videos and pictures for all to see.
Of course we took on the Gixermini.com project, which gained lots of interest in how it works, what our plans are with it and how we are going to move it forward. The unveiling of our new gixermini.com drive box making the running of the car a lot easier is an awesome piece of engineering and has now arrived!.
We have had a vast amount of Aluminium work come in throughout the first 8 months of the year, including radiators, battery boxes, fuel tanks, header tanks and anything else you can think of! Plenty have been going out and receiving great reviews in return. At the moment we have a historic formula car in the workshop having all its aluminium work done ready to take to the track soon and plenty of other products being shipped out all around the country!
Nitron! You may be aware that we are now the main Autograss Dealers for Nitron now. We are working closely with them to develop and further improve our BB Branded Shock Absorbers as well as provide help and advice on the set up of them. They appear on our new Autograss cars as well as projects like the Reliant Kitten. We appreciate Nitron’s continuous support and providing their great British products to us.
As you have read, a lot has gone on in the last 8 months, and their is only more to come from us! Watch this space!
