A big congratulations to our trophy winners for this year, it has been super to watch you battle it out for these trophies!

Special mentions this week go to two new Juniors that started their career last weekend at the BAS. Both anxious to get out after seeing family and friends compete since growing up!

James Smart has been the most enthusiastic 10-year-old when talking about racing, helping build the car up in the garage and jumping straight into it with just a small portion of nerves! James went with them off the start, dropped back as he started to get used to what it was like to be racing but soon got quicker throughout the weekend. James will be out a few more times before the end of the year ready for more practice in 2023 and we can’t wait to see how he gets on.Vince Paskell also started last weekend, another enthusiastic 10-year-old itching to follow in his family’s footsteps. Vince was brilliant in his first race; he came off with a big smile and a party cannon from mum. A proper celebration finishing his first race alongside his sister! Vince was very excited to finally be behind the wheel of a special like his parents and siblings, as well as auntie and grandad. A huge heritage of Autograss within the family with plenty more race meetings to come through his junior journey of 6 years. Well Done Vince!
