2020 Class 8
Share
When Graham came up with the new idea for 2020 Class 8, we knew people would either love it or hate it when it was put out on social media. It is completely different to other class 8s out on track however here at Team BB we think different is good and with plenty of time to develop the idea Graham thought, why not! Graham decided it was time to run with it. Using a high up rear pivot and a longer trailing arm as well as pushing the ending right up towards the cab to reduce any form of tail swing, and a lightweight new front arm set up, it has transformed the class for us. Running a Hayabusa engine and weighing a very light 375kgs, Graham’s years of experience instantly knew it was going to be a car to watch. Aby as well as Mike Mumford has sufficiently tested this car, starting at Yorkshire Dales back in August and completing a further 8 meetings, it has been a constant learning curve and it continues to surprise us with how far we can push it. Testing against some of the best drivers and cars in the country on polish and grippy tracks. Graham and Aby have both had to adjust to new ideas and develop new driving styles, however we have a very good feeling about this car, and the upcoming season.
